Alicia Glasgow-Gentles
Alicia Glasgow Gentles is the passionate and dynamic leader of Youth Upliftment Through Employment (YUTE) Ltd. Mrs. Glasgow Gentles is charged with the responsibility of charting the course for the rebirth of the YUTE programme with new management and strategic direction.
Throughout her career, she has worked in various capacities with leading development agencies, including the Jamaica National Building Society Foundation, the Mutual Building Societies Foundation, Digicel Foundation and Stella Maris Foundation. As well as, she has supported projects with many of these funding and implementing partners.
A firm believer in the transformational impact of community development, Mrs. Glasgow Gentles has a proven passion for excellence in developing and supporting initiatives based on critical partnerships to effectively and efficiently unearth human capital and community potential.
Mrs. Glasgow Gentles earned her Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the Mona School of Business, The University of the West Indies Mona. She is also a graduate of Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey – New Brunswick, USA and holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communication and Media Studies with a concentration in Public Relations and a minor in Psychology. Mrs. Glasgow Gentles is a Director of BizTactics Limited, a family-run business supporting growth aspiring firms, and she has also served as a member of the PSOJ’s Education Committee.
Cherie Sudine
Cherie is the Marketing Campaign Planner for Gustazos within the ICD Group. She has worked across several industries including the international charity Chain of Hope where she coordinated several projects which helped provide life-saving treatment to children with cardiac defects. She completed her BSc. and MSc. in Clinical Psychology (2012) and is currently an Associate Clinical Psychologist with Family Life Ministries. Additionally Cherie has a passion for sales and marketing and has been active in the industry for the past two years. Currently as a member of the Gustazos team her role involves identifying, developing and evaluating digital promotional opportunities and partnerships. Gustazos enjoys success in planning and executing winning marketing campaigns which communicate value. Cherie hopes to make an impact in digital and social media on the Jamaican landscape.
Goffrey Wilson
Geoffery Wilson is an innovative professional with over five (5) years progressive experience in sales and marketing. His appetite for marketing started when he left High School where Geoffery pursued a career in music, videography and designing. Having honed these skills, Geoffery went further to pursue a bachelor’s degree in the field of Marketing from the University of the West Indies. Geoffery professional background includes successful car loan sales, magazines, television, digital and outdoor advertising and was an education officer at the tertiary level for 4 years. We welcome Geoffery to the Gustazos family as a Marketing planner where we are assured of his invaluable contribution to the team.
Loren White
Upon graduating from Denison University in (Columbus, OH) in 2014 with degrees in Economics and Environmental Studies, Loren worked for a short stint with the US Forest Service in Alaska and the YMCA in Texas. He has always been passionate about innovation and helping people understand the benefits of social media platforms. Having returned home to Jamaica, Loren is excited to be a part of the Gustazos team and helping to grow the company in Jamaica.
Shantar Chin
With over 2 years experience in the business process outsourcing sector, Shantar Chin is an experienced marketing and sales agent. Some of the international brands she has worked with include Microsoft and Amazon, which gives her a world-class approach to customer service. Currently, she doubles as a customer service agent and production coordinator with Gustazos Jamaica.
