Dushyant Savadia
Mr. Savadia is a social entrepreneur and humanitarian. He is also an International Program Director at the Art of Living Foundation.
Relinquishing senior management positions at world’s largest technology companies, Dushyant embarked on a journey to fulfill the Art of Living Foundation’s mission of creating a stress-free and violence-free society. Having met Sri Sri Ravi Shankar (Founder – Art of Living Foundation) and undergone a personal transformation, he became a Program Director for the Art of Living in 1999.
Travelling globally, he established the Art of Living in many countries as government social intervention tool to reduce crime and violence by undertaking massive projects into schools, gangs, inner city communities and prisons. His stress-management seminars and workshops through the Art of Living are commended by corporates and government institutions to bring productivity and leadership within their environment.
In 2015 Mr. Savadia decided to establish Amber connect to lay the foundation for a more secure society and create a funding source to accomplish the humanitarian work carried out by the Art of Living Foundation.
Peter K. Melhado
Mr. Melhado is also the President and CEO of the ICD Group, a Jamaican-based conglomerate with interests in real estate, construction, property management, general insurance, e-commerce and business process outsourcing. ICD group owns a minor stake in Amber Connect.
Mr. Melhado began his career as a project engineer with the UK-based construction firm, Kier International. He subsequently worked in the manufacturing sector with brewer and beverage producer Red Stripe, before entering banking in 1993 with the Manufacturers group. Mr. Melhado became the CEO of the Manufacturers Group on 1995, led the company’s acquisition of Sigma Investment Managers in 2001 and held that position until merging Manufacturers Sigma with Pan Caribbean in 2004. Mr. Melhado currently serves on the Boards of a number of companies, mainly within the Caribbean and Latin America.
He is also committed to national development and has sat on a variety of public sector company Boards including recently the Port Authority of Jamaica and Tax Administration of Jamaica and is a former Vice President of the Private Sector Organization of Jamaica. Passionate about education, he is Board Chairman of the American International School of Kingston.
Mr. Melhado attained a B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from McGill University (1985) and an MBA from Columbia University Graduate School of Business (1990), with a concentration in Finance.
Maria Lapushkina
Maria has a diverse background which includes administrative support, business process mapping, translation and language teaching. In 2012 Maria became an International program director at the Art of Living Foundation and engaged herself in many social and charitable projects. She moved to Jamaica in 2014 and engaged in teaching various Living seminars in inner cities and under privileged communities.
She is a director at Amber Connect and also overseas all the design, social media and digital marketing. Maria is a graduate of Lomonoosov Moscow State University, holds a diploma cum laude in area studies and translation.
Getinilla Finn
Getinilla Finn has worked in the field of Human Resource Management in the telecommunications and petroleum industries for over twenty five years. Getinilla manages operations for Amber Connect Limited. Inspired by the work of the Art of Living Foundation she volunteers and has been involved in rehabilitation program in the prisons as well as workshops in inner city communities. Getinilla is a graduate of the University of Technology holds an honours degree in Business Administration.
George Greaves
Prior to working with Amber Connect, George’s work experience had climaxed at a leading Jamaican Telecommunication company after 21 years of service in a senior management role for Regional Systems Manager.
George is technically solid with excellent team building, leadership and conflict resolution and management skills. He pursued information Technology at the University of Technology, Jamaica. Avid runner, and can be seen at most of the 5K – half marathons in Jamaica. Currently, he is working toward completing his first full Marathon in Miami in January 2017.
Himanshu Savadia
Himanshu is responsible for device support and management. His current role is led by his expertise in handling IT solutions of Amber Connect and providing technical solutions to the devices. He also is responsible to maintain and sustain the device performance globally. Himanshu also has been a volunteer for the Art of Living Foundation for 12 years and in this capacity supported many service projects related to rural development, disaster relief and prison rehabilitation program.
Mansi V. Wadhwa
Mansi oversees operations for Amber Connect. In her role, she handles all logistics, accounts and payments processes in Amber Connect. Mansi is a Youth Program Director with the Art of Living Foundation since 2014. In this role, she conducts educational seminars for children which incorporate diverse modules for child development. She has been involved in Art of Living’s projects in India and Jamaica.
MatthewKhoury
Matthew has comprehensive experience in Business Management and began his career in Real Estate as a Global Trainer for an international Real Estate Management platform. Moving on as a Project Manager for one of the Caribbean largest conglomerates, he gained excellent Project Management experience and has since then started different projects in the petroleum industry. He is also a professional photographer and always developing his personal skill set. He is a Junior Director of Bacchanal Jamaica. Both an intrepreneur and an entrepreneur, Mathew is always growing in personal and professional development.
